One day a bunch of girls, brought together through family ties, decided that it was time to do something to give back to the community. All of these dedicated women had always understood the importance of never taking advantage of the opportunities they had been afforded throughout their lives. It was the notion of giving back that inspired them to form a small forum, an outlet by which they could volunteer and raise awareness for a variety of charitable organizations.

WLMA Non Profit Networking Expo

Join guest speaker, Connie L. Lindsey, Executive Vice President, and Head of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at The Northern Trust Company, for a discussion focused on Non Profit Board Membership and Volunteerism; what it means to be a Non Profit Board Member and the many ways to find and become involved in an organization you care about. Along with her CSR expertise, Ms. Lindsey has extensive involvement on Non Profit Boards, including her current position as National Board President of Girl Scouts of the USA, the highest ranking volunteer of this 3.4 million member organization, among others.
